We are aware that the city is lively these days, and we want you to feel safe, comfortable, and well-informed during your stay. Below you will find practical details to make your arrival and transport in Belgrade as smooth as possible.

✈️ Getting from Belgrade Airport to Hotel Metropol Palace

• The distance is about 20 km, and the average taxi fare is 3,000 RSD-4,000 RSD   (≈ 25-35 EUR).
• Official safe taxi providers from the airport:
  • Pink Taxi
  • Belgrade Taxi
  • At the arrivals hall, you can request a taxi voucher at the official desk – this ensures a fixed price range to the municipality of our venue.
• Please note: Uber does not operate in Serbia.

Ride-hailing Apps

• CarGo and Yandex Go are the two main ride-hailing apps in Belgrade. Both are reliable and can be downloaded in advance.
• Payment can be made in-app by card, or in cash directly to the driver.

Public Transport (Free of Charge)

• Belgrade’s buses, trams, and trolleybuses are currently free to use, and routes are available directly on Google Maps.
• This is an excellent way to get around the city center quickly and safely.

✅ Safety Note

• Belgrade is completely safe for visitors. While occasional public gatherings and protests may occur, these are typically localized and peaceful.
